Convenient testing, right here at Village.
We offer a range of cardiac investigations at our Camperdown practice. Your cardiologist or referring doctor can help determine which test is right for you.

Exercise is an important part of staying well but knowing what is safe and appropriate can be difficult when you have a heart condition. Our exercise physiology service provides individual assessment and tailored exercise advice to help you build fitness, strength and confidence.
This service is particularly suited to people living with congenital heart disease or other chronic cardiovascular conditions, as well as those returning to exercise after a diagnosis or change in their health.

Do I need a referral?
You can contact us directly to make an appointment. However, you will need a current referral from your GP or specialist to receive a Medicare rebate for a cardiology consultation.

CARDIOLOGY
A current referral is recommended so you can receive a Medicare rebate for your cardiology consultation.
Clear & transparent from the start.
We aim to keep our fees fair and transparent. Most cardiology consultations attract a Medicare rebate, although there may be an out-of-pocket cost.
Reduced or concessional fees are available for Pension and Health Care Card holders for cardiology consultations. If cost is making it difficult for you to access care, please speak with our team. We don’t want financial hardship to prevent you or your family from getting the care you need.

Reduced consultation fees are available for Pensioner Concession Card and Health Care Card holders. Please let our team know when booking your appointment.
Testing and allied health fees
Fees vary depending on the service required and whether a Medicare rebate applies. Our team can explain the expected fee and any available Medicare rebate when you make your appointment.
